Your own WhatsApp number
Connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta Embedded Signup for unlimited, fully branded sending.
WhatsApp Business
+20 100 000 0000 · My StoreA connected own number. Quality rating and sending limit are read live from Meta, not from what Wapify last saved.
Connecting your own WhatsApp Business Account moves sending onto your number and your brand. Meta bills you directly for the messages, which means Wapify stops counting them — every automation becomes unlimited, and campaigns can reach your whole audience.
Before you start
- A Meta Business account. If you already run a Facebook Page for the store, you almost certainly have one.
- A phone number that is free. It must not currently be registered to a personal WhatsApp account or the WhatsApp Business app. If it is, delete that account first — a number can only live in one place.
- The ability to receive a code on that number, by SMS or voice call.
- A payment method on your Meta account. Meta charges you per conversation, so sending stops if there's nothing to bill.
A landline works, if it can take a voice call — Meta will read the verification code aloud. Many stores use a dedicated number rather than the one staff answer personally.
Connect it
-
Open Channels and press "Connect via Meta"
On the Your own WhatsApp number card.
-
Complete Meta's Embedded Signup
A popup from Meta — not from Wapify — walks you through signing into Facebook, choosing or creating a WhatsApp Business Account, entering your business details, and adding the phone number. Wapify never sees your Facebook password.
-
Verify the number
Meta sends a code by SMS or voice call. Enter it in the popup.
-
Let Wapify finish activation
Verification alone doesn't make a number able to send — it still has to be registered for the API. Wapify does this for you. If you see "Meta has verified this number, but it still needs to be activated for sending", press Finish setup; it takes a few seconds and needs nothing else from you.
-
Wait for templates
Wapify immediately submits every template it needs — English and Arabic, for every automation — to your new account. A banner tells you it's running in the background and that you can close the page. Most approvals land within minutes; Meta allows up to 24 hours.
The Templates page appears in the menu as soon as your number is connected. That's where you watch approval status and, later, edit wording. See Templates & Meta review.

Sending limits and quality rating
Meta gives new numbers a starting limit — commonly 250 unique customers per 24 hours — and raises it as you send reliably to more people over time. Both your current limit and your quality rating are shown on the Channels card, read live from Meta.
Quality is driven almost entirely by blocks and reports. Sending relevant messages, honouring the customer's language, and not messaging the same person repeatedly is what keeps it green.
If messages are marked sent but never delivered, quality is the first thing to check. A restricted number accepts messages and then silently fails to deliver them.
Switching, disconnecting, downgrading
Switch back to Wapify's number
One click on the Channels page. Your number stays linked but idle, your approved templates stay on your account, and automations resume on the shared number with its allowances. Switch forward again at any time — it's instant, because nothing needs re-approving.
Disconnect completely
Also on the Channels page, behind a confirmation. Wapify's access is revoked and sending falls back to the shared number. Your templates remain on your own WhatsApp Business Account — they belong to you — so reconnecting later doesn't put them through Meta review again.
If you downgrade from Pro
Own-number sending is a Pro feature, so sending falls back to Wapify's shared number and its monthly allowance. Messages keep going out; they stop coming from your number. Your connection and templates are untouched, and returning to Pro restores your number immediately.
