Fulfillment
Tell customers the moment their order ships, with a live tracking button when the fulfillment has one.
With tracking
Without tracking
Two messages, chosen automatically. Wapify never shows a tracking button that leads nowhere.
"Where is my order?" is the most common message any store receives, and it's entirely avoidable. Telling the customer the moment you ship — with a tracking link when you have one — removes the question before it's asked.
What fires it
Marking an order as fulfilled in Shopify. That's it: create the fulfillment as you normally would, from the order page, from a bulk action, or automatically through your fulfillment service, and the message follows immediately.
It sends once per order. Partial fulfillments and later edits don't produce a second message.
The two versions
Which one goes out depends entirely on whether the fulfillment carries a tracking link:
You don't choose between them. Wapify reads the fulfillment and picks. If you want the tracking version, add the tracking number and carrier in Shopify before marking the order fulfilled.
Shopify recognises most major carriers and generates the tracking URL automatically once you enter a tracking number. For couriers it doesn't know, paste the full tracking URL into the fulfillment and it'll be used as-is.
Settings
Deliberately, there aren't many. Fulfillment is a factual notification with one right moment to send it — when you ship — so it has no delay control.
- The master toggle — on or off.
- Message language — from the global language picker, shared with every other automation.
The card also carries a short How It Works summary and a preview of both message versions, so you can read exactly what each customer will get.
Delivery, and what it unlocks
Shipping and delivery are different events. Fulfillment fires when you ship. Two other things wait for the courier to report the shipment as actually delivered:
- Ask for review, which starts its countdown from delivery.
- The Order successfully delivered trigger on Upsell.
Both depend on your courier reporting delivery back to Shopify. If yours doesn't, those automations will have nothing to fire on — worth checking before you rely on them.
Delivery status also drives what the Inbox order card shows. It always reports where the parcel physically is, rather than Shopify's fulfillment status, because "fulfilled" and "delivered" mean very different things to a customer asking where their order is.
Sending one by hand
Select orders in Shopify, open the ⋯ menu and choose Send shipping update. Useful when you fulfilled orders before installing Wapify, or when a tracking number was added late. See Actions on the Orders page.
