Settings
App language, store information and the COD gateway override for non-standard payment methods.
If your payment gateway name doesn't match the default COD list, enter it here (exact match, case-insensitive).
The one setting that decides whether your COD orders are recognised at all. If confirmations aren't firing, check here first.
Wapify keeps almost nothing in a settings page — configuration lives with the feature it belongs to. Three things sit outside that rule, and this page covers all of them.
COD gateway override
COD Confirmation only fires for orders whose payment method looks like cash on delivery. Wapify recognises the usual names automatically, case-insensitively:
cash_on_delivery · cod · cash · pay_on_delivery · cash-on-delivery · الدفع_عند_الاستلام
Plenty of stores use a custom manual payment method with a name of their own — "Cash on receipt", "COD (Delivery)", or a courier's name. Those aren't on the list, so Wapify won't treat those orders as COD, and no confirmation is sent.
Setting it
- Find the exact name
Open a real COD order in Shopify and read the payment method exactly as it appears. If you set up the manual payment method yourself, it's the name you gave it.
- Enter it in the override field
The whole name, not a fragment. Matching is case-insensitive but otherwise exact.
- Save, then place a test order
See Place a test order.
This is the single most common reason COD Confirmation "isn't working". If Logs shows no rows at all for a COD order you placed, the gateway name is almost certainly why.
The override adds one name; the defaults keep working. There's one override field, so if you use several custom gateway names, name the one that carries most of your orders.
Store information
Read-only, and synced from Shopify: your store name, currency, timezone and country. You don't edit these in Wapify — change them in Shopify and they follow.
They matter more than they look:
- Store name appears in every automated message.
- Currency formats every amount, in messages and in previews.
- Timezone decides quiet hours — the 02:00–11:00 window is in your local time.
- Country informs phone-number handling.
If message previews show the wrong currency, the sync hasn't run yet or your Shopify currency is set differently than you expect. Wapify falls back to EGP until it knows better.
App language
English or العربية, switching the whole Wapify interface — including flipping the layout to right-to-left for Arabic. The picker lives on the Dashboard rather than here, because it's something you change while looking at the app.
It's a different setting from message language. You can run the admin in Arabic and message customers in English, or the reverse — they're chosen independently and neither affects the other.
The app-language choice is stored per store, so everyone with access to your Shopify admin sees the same interface language.
Settings that live elsewhere
Everything else is configured where it's used:
Feature requests
Wapify has a public roadmap page — Vote on features, linked from the dashboard — listing what's planned, with upvoting. The most-voted ideas move up the roadmap, and it's genuinely used for prioritisation. If something you need isn't in the app, that's the most effective place to say so.
